What is the Minimum Powder Transport Amount?

The vast majority of our bulk powder tanker fleet can carry up to 28 tonnes of product, whether that be plastic granules, PVC, or any other type of bulk powder. These products are usually loaded into the tanker through a silo, but we can also offer bag-in-box solutions.

Bag-in-box, often known as bulk bags, is where bulk powder is transported in a large bag, usually made of several layers of plastic or metallised film. They are loaded into a large container and transported on a skeletal trailer. These are usually de-bagged and then loaded into a silo or sometimes into a bulk tanker.

How much does Bulk Powder Logistics Cost?

There is no ‘one price fits all’ when is comes to bulk powder haulage, there are many aspects that influence price that must be considered. The distance from the loading location to the delivery point is a key influencer as the mileage involved to move the product is a major part of the costings. The volume of the work, so whether that be a one off job or a more consistent flow of volume has an impact. More frequent contracted work often works out more competitive for the customer.
