It’s almost 100 years since Alf Sutton started his own business with just a single horse and cart.
Since then, Suttons Group has gone on to acquire tens of thousands of specialist haulage vehicles, delivering on time, every time across the UK and internationally.
We’re still family owned, and our name is synonymous with outstanding safety and excellent customer service - two of the core values that mean so much to us and our customers.
We now have two operating divisions: Suttons International and Suttons Tankers and offer all aspects of tank container, road tanker and multimodal services.
This is backed up with expert supporting services including fleet management and on-site logistics.
More Than Just a Fleet
We may own a huge number of tanks and containers but we offer so much more than simply moving your goods from one place to another.
Our drivers are trained by our industry leading internal safety team on how to handle dangerous goods and we can provide you with the training your team needs to meet safety guidelines on your site.
Sustainability is a key focus of ours, we strive to ensure our drivers don’t travel with an empty tank or container where possible. We have multiple drop off locations and our logistics team analyse each planned route to ensure we work more efficiently.
Our barrels are cleaned and reused as many times as possible, we even invest in new linings so they have a longer lifespan.
