Position: Transport Planner

Salary: £29K-£31K DOE

Suttons International are a long standing and successful global logistics provider. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our fantastic team based in Widnes!

The Role

This hybrid role is responsible for creating a national transport plan to meet Customers’ requirements and execute within parameters. Transport Planners will optimise available resources with regards to service, productivity and cost to ensure Customers’ receive a first-class service in a cost-effective way. You will also adhere to all safety compliance requirements and deliver efficiently against KPIs.

The role is organised across a rolling working pattern for the 3 incumbents (Monday to Friday):

• Week one – 06.00 to 14.00
• Week two – 09.00 to 17.00
• Week three – 11.00 to 19.00
• Out of Hours cover – weekend roster is utilized within the team to provide essential cover for International Operations within UK Saturday / Sunday / Public holidays
