Suttons Tankers has won a 3 year contract with Azelis UK Ltd for the transportation of bulk nitrogen chemical liquids and gases which went live in November 2020.

Suttons Group are proud to announce a significant investment in our IT systems. Over £2M is being spent on our infrastructure, user endpoint hardware, systems, and staff training to ensure the Suttons global IT network is robust, modern and futureproof.

In 1958 a recently privatised Suttons Group set its sights at business outside the UK and formed a new division named Anglo European Transport Services Ltd, which was set up to handle transportation of goods and bulk chemicals between the UK and mainland Europe.

When longstanding customer Nippon Gases came to Suttons Tankers with an urgent request at short notice, we were happy to help them in any way in which we could.

Here at Suttons International, staff progression is very important to us, and we want to ensure we offer the most modern techniques to continuously engage with and train our staff.

Paul Morrill is a Transport Planner at Suttons Tankers, based in our Hull office. Paul is responsible for the day to day running of customer’s contracts, ensuring that products are always distributed safely and on time. Recently Paul has taken a role in Suttons’ response to Brexit and has personally been liaising with customers and customs agents to reduce disruption to supply chains.

We are no strangers to unpredictable weather conditions in the UK, but the recent torrential rain and flurry of snow we have experienced over the past week has posed challenges to some of our contracts.

Suttons are pleased to announce a substantial investment for our Widnes depot wash bay, bringing sustainable, reliable, and safety focused improvements to our operations and third-party business’, while ensuring our wash bay is future proofed for many years to come.

The implications of Brexit are now in full swing and there is no doubt that this has had an impact on some of our contracts at Suttons. Paul Morrill, one of our Transport Planners, has experience of navigating the impact of Brexit on our Rain Carbon contract, and as a result, offered his expertise to support with the customs activity between the UK & Ireland on the BOC pentanes liquids contract.
