It follows a visit by Councillor Rob Polhill and senior council officer Mick Noone to the company’s Widnes HQ where they met some of the 250-strong workforce, including Aiden Stanley and Luc Edwards who both live locally.

“We’re grateful to Cllr Polhill for taking the time to come and visit us and meet some of our staff.
“Both Aiden and Luc are an example our successful and well established apprenticeship programme. Following the visit Suttons will be working with the Council and Riverside College to develop further apprenticeship opportunities.”
