Suttons Transport Group is a dynamic, privately owned company specialising in the global logistics of bulk chemicals and gases on behalf of a portfolio of “blue chip” customers.
We currently have a vacancy working within our Engineering department based at our Thornaby Workshop for 2 HGV Fitters.
This role will involve the inspection of road tankers and trailers, MOT preparations, breakdown cover, tank testing and general tank work. The successful candidates will have at least 2 years experience, preferably tanker experience with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. HGV Class 1/ADR licence preferred but not necessary. This position will be working on a rotating morning and afternoon shift.

A key Group appointment. This role is key to the business. You will service the business by supplying timely, accurate information that allows management to make informed decisions.
Basic responsibilities will include control across 3 Divisions, by profit centres.
Key tasks include control of assistants with 4 direct reports ( 2 qualified, 2 assistants )Production of weekly flash and monthly management reports ( inc P&L A/Cs)Quarterly forecasts and production of budgets.Balance sheet control including fixed assets, depot / sector interface with non financial information and year end accounting input.
A strong personality is required to liase with service and Managing Directors. In addition strong staff management and development skills.
You will have a proven track record in producing and developing information systems and the ability to interface with both financial and non financial staff.
You will be qualified C.I.M.A. ( or similar ) with a minimum of 5-10 years p.q.e
